Frequently Asked Questions

We understand lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit.

How is each funded?

Learning Centers are generally tuition-based or privately funded by families, community groups, or scholarship/ESAs. Public funding is typically limited unless tied to a state partnership or school program.

Microschools may be privately funded (tuition, ESA, or scholarships) or publicly supported when operating under an umbrella of a charter or accredited partner school that receives state funding.

WonderED microschools, for example, can operate under recognized partnerships that allow for per-pupil funding when requirements are met.

What grades do they serve?

Learning Centers: Usually support Grade 6–12 students, often with flexible scheduling.

Microschools: Typically focus on a specific grade band (e.g., K–5, 6–8, or 9–12) to maintain a close-knit community and developmentally appropriate instruction.

Can students get a valid High School Diploma?

Yes—students enrolled in a microschool partnered with an accredited academy like WonderED K-12 can earn a recognized high school diploma that meets state graduation requirements.
