Some students can complete traditional school assignments but cannot see why the work matters. Others have become disengaged, fallen behind, or simply need a more flexible and personal way to learn.
WonderED Pathways provides a different route: an accredited, project-based school experience designed around the student.
Pathways is not simply a library of online courses.
Each student receives a personalized plan that connects academic requirements with interests, strengths, future goals, and meaningful work.
Students learn through WonderED’s Five Elements of Learning:
Advisory and personalized guidance
Core academic courses
Book studies
Project-based learning
Community-based learning
Together, these elements create a complete pathway toward graduation and life after high school.
Instead of treating every subject as a separate box, students can complete interdisciplinary projects that connect multiple areas of learning.
A student might:
Design and launch a small business
Produce a documentary about a community issue
Build a sustainable garden
Research and propose a public-policy solution
Develop an app or digital product
Plan a community event
Create a portfolio for a chosen career field
Projects are planned, documented, reviewed, and connected to academic competencies and graduation requirements.
Every Pathways student has a defined graduation plan.
The pathway identifies:
Credits already completed
Remaining graduation requirements
Required courses and competencies
Project and custom-course opportunities
Community-based learning options
College, career, military, or personal goals
Milestones leading toward graduation
Students gain flexibility without losing direction.
College-Ready
Build the academic record, preparation, and experiences needed for college admissions and future study.
Career-Ready
Connect learning with career exploration, employability skills, certifications, internships, and real-world work.
Military-Ready
Develop academic readiness, personal responsibility, career awareness, and a plan for military service.
Custom Pathway
Create an individualized program for students whose goals do not fit neatly within a standard track.
Want learning to connect with their interests
Prefer creating and doing over completing repetitive assignments
Need greater flexibility in their daily schedule
Have become disengaged in a conventional school setting
Want a more personalized relationship with their school
Need a clear and supported route toward graduation
