At WonderED Academy, we believe learning should work for students and families. Our program is built to fit each student’s unique schedule, learning style, and dreams. With a mix of challenging courses, fun activities, and plenty of support, your child can grow academically, socially, and personally—all from the comfort and safety of home or anywhere else they happen to be, 24/7.
Our program is built around Five WonderED Elements that give every student a well-rounded education that is engaging and fun.
1. Core Courses on Multiple Platforms
We offer math, science, literature, and more courses through top online platforms. This gives students many choices so they can find the best platforms and methods for them. Whether your child loves solving tough math problems or diving into creative writing, there’s something for everyone!

2. Daily Advisory for Human Contact and Support
Each morning starts with a live session led by an Advisor. Students share their goals, connect with peers, and get the emotional support they need to handle challenges. These sessions allow students to build confidence, make friends, and feel part of a caring community.
3. Book Studies for Big Ideas
Students read and discuss exciting books through our Book Studies, sharpening their critical thinking and creativity. For example, they might debate a character's choices or explore how a story relates to real life. It’s not just reading—it’s learning to think deeply and share ideas!
4. Project-Based Learning for Real-World Skills
We encourage students to dive into hands-on projects. They can work in teams or independently to explore topics they love, from building a model rocket to creating a community service plan. These projects teach collaboration, problem-solving, and independence.
5. Community-Based Learning
Learning isn’t just about screens! We encourage students to join activities like dance, art, or sports in their communities, knowing that they can work their educational work around them. Community-based learning experiences help students grow as people and connect with the world around them.
To expand our students' communities, we also provide a membership for each student to RECESS, a web community and platform that allows children to make friends, get inspired, and explore together. RECESS memberships include daily community hours, a safe chat platform, and a dedicated education team. Additional classes and experiences hosted by curated educators are available à la carte.​
